will be returning here soon
The room was super spacious with a comfy super king bed. Stylish decor featuring sheepskin rugs. We had a well-stocked minibar and an electric kettle for tea, which was great. Perfectly located near the York Museum Gardens, we could easily stroll to attractions like the Minster. The shower was powerful and the complimentary snacks were a nice touch!

Perfect spot for exploring York
We had a fab 2 nights here! Super close to the city center, just a quick walk across the park. The room was comfy, and I loved the modern bathroom with a great shower. Only thing was, the breakfast options were a bit limited since no warm meals are served before 9 am.

We had a lovely stay, enjoying the cozy atmosphere of the place and the comfortable beds. The location was fantastic for exploring York—very close to all the main attractions. Plus, the staff was friendly and offered great recommendations for local dining.
My kids wished for a bit more milk and tea/coffee during our three-night stay. A greater initial supply would really help families.

Old-town charm shines through in this cozy guesthouse. Room comfort was an issue due to a noisy mattress. Staff offered great local recommendations. Parking fees can add up quickly if you're staying multiple nights.

missingWrote a review on Oct 03tasteful decorwell-stocked fridgecramped shower
Tastefully decorated rooms reflect unique charm, making for a cozy retreat after a long day exploring. The well-stocked fridge with complimentary snacks stood out, adding that little extra touch.
The cramped shower room really needs some attention, with peeling paint and discolored mastic that seemed out of place for this type of establishment. the lack of accessibility for those with mobility issues can be a downside, especially if stairs are involved. Not to mention, I wasn't thrilled that room cleaning didn't happen during our stay, which felt off for a hotel priced at this level. Plus, don’t expect a luxurious breakfast experience. it didn’t quite meet expectations, especially considering the hefty price tag attached.

The room was super cozy and had a nice vibe with Scandinavian decor. The bed was incredibly comfy and warm. It had a well-stocked fridge with great snacks. The bathroom was stylish, and the shower had great water pressure. Just a bit short on space for my liking. But overall, it was a comfy stay!

missingWrote a review on Aug 04spacious room
I had a lovely stay with comfy amenities like a spacious room and a cute picnic-style breakfast delivered right to my door. There’s also a nice little garden area perfect for unwinding after a busy day. Just a heads up, I didn't realize there wasn't a dedicated breakfast room, but plenty of local eateries made up for it. 😊
